I. Advantages of epoxy powder coated steel pipe

1. Excellent environmental performance: drainage special coated steel pipe adopts hot dipping process, does not contain harmful substances, meet environmental protection requirements. At the same time, it can be recycled, conducive to the recycling of resources.
2. Easy installation: Coated steel pipe is light in weight, corrosion resistant, high pressure resistance, no welding is required during the installation process, greatly reducing the installation difficulty and time.
3. Low maintenance costs: Coated steel pipe has good wear resistance, which can effectively extend service life and reduce maintenance times and costs.
Wear resistance of epoxy powder coated steel pipe
1. Compared with traditional steel pipe, epoxy powder sprayed steel pipe has better wear resistance. Due to the inner layer coated steel pipe surface after special treatment, it has good wear resistance, can effectively resist the erosion of acid, alkali, salt and other chemicals, extending the service life.
2. Epoxy powder coated steel pipe will not wear during transportation, thus reducing the number of times and cost of maintenance of the steel pipe system. At the same time, due to the internal coating has good elasticity, it can buffer the external shock and reduce the pressure loss of the steel pipe system.
3. The wear resistance of the epoxy powder coated steel pipe is not affected by the internal media of the steel pipe system. Whether it is conveying water, oil and gas or other media, the coated steel pipe can maintain stable wear resistance.
Three, epoxy powder coated steel pipe anti-corrosion layer thickness standard
The anti-corrosion layer thickness of epoxy powder coated steel pipe is mainly stipulated by the national standard "General technical conditions for buried steel pipe" (GB / T 17306-1998). According to this standard, the anti-corrosion layer thickness should meet the following requirements:
1. Ordinary grade corrosion protection layer, such as polyethylene (PE), high density polyethylene (HDPE), polyethylene chloride (PVC), etc., the minimum thickness should be 0.7mm; enhanced grade corrosion protection layer, such as glass fiber reinforced polyethylene (FRP), epoxy coal asphalt (API), epoxy ceramic (EPO), etc., the minimum thickness should be 1.2mm.

2. In practical applications, due to the influence of the topography, soil type, groundwater level and other factors, the thickness of the corrosion layer needs to be adjusted according to the specific circumstances. In general, the thickness of the corrosion layer should be clearly specified in the design document.

4、 Factors affecting the thickness of anti-corrosion coating on epoxy powder sprayed steel pipes
1. Environmental factors: Environmental temperature, humidity, soil pH, salinity, and other factors can affect the anti-corrosion effect of coated carbon steel pipes, thereby affecting the thickness of the anti-corrosion layer. Generally speaking, the more severe the environmental factors, the greater the thickness required for the anti-corrosion layer.
2. Steel pipe operating parameters: The conveying pressure, flow rate, temperature and other parameters of the steel pipe will affect the wear degree of the inner and outer coated carbon steel pipes, thereby affecting the thickness of the anti-corrosion layer. Generally speaking, the higher the operating parameters of steel pipes, the greater the thickness required for the anti-corrosion coating.
3. Steel pipe laying method: The laying method of steel pipes (such as direct burial, overhead, water pipes, etc.) will affect the contact area between the inner and outer coated carbon steel pipes and the surrounding environment, thereby affecting the thickness of the anti-corrosion layer. Generally speaking, the more complex the laying method, the thicker the anti-corrosion layer needs to be.
4. Construction quality: The thickness of the anti-corrosion layer on the inner and outer plastic coated carbon steel pipes is greatly affected by the construction quality. If there are omissions or thickness issues during the construction process, it will result in the anti-corrosion coating thickness not meeting the requirements. Therefore, the construction quality should be strictly controlled during the construction process.
5、 Application fields of epoxy powder coated steel pipes
1. Petrochemical industry: used for transporting various corrosive media, such as acidic and alkaline liquids, oil and gas, etc.
2. Power industry: used for transmission and distribution lines as cable protection pipes.
3. Construction industry: used for steel pipe systems such as water supply, drainage, and ventilation inside buildings.
4. Industrial industry: used for transporting various chemicals, gases, liquids, and other media.
5. Urban heating system: used for transporting hot water and steam, with good insulation performance.
